Hello, my name is Benjamin Franklin Cat. Everyone calls me Franklin. I'm named after a signer of the US Constitution. Welcome to my home!
This is my home. One of my favorite spots is here, in the bay window of the living room. I like to watch the birds fly by, and the cars that pass the house. There are other cats in the neighborhood, too, but not all of them have nice houses like this to live in. I think that is sad. Every home should have a cat, and vice versa.

This is my baby photo. I was only 12 weeks old here. Jason and John brought me home from the veterinarian in Point Marion, where I was a rescued kitten. I really like this bedspread too - it's vintage chenille and feels really soft!

Of course I do my share of activities as well. I'm a very active kitty-

But my favorite activity is napping - pretty much anywhere I can find a spot.
I travel well - compact model!
Jason and John take me lots of places with them. I like to travel in cars - and often I'm not in my cat carrier. I know, I know. Bad Cat. I like to be out so I can see what's passing by. I guess it's the WV in me.

So if you need more love, action, and purring in your life- or a good subject for a photoshoot- try a cat like me! There are many cats and other animals at your local rescue agencies that need homes. So if you have room in your home and your heart, consider adopting a critter. They'll love you for it!

Bye till next time!

I've read that when cats lay in the bathroom sink, it could be sign of a urinary tract infection. You might want to check up on that.
You didn't mention Aunt Buttercup.
He does not have a uti. He likes Mom's sink because it fits him and its cold porcelain.
And like Mom's house, the post was not big enough for Buttercup and Franklin.
Franklin is adorable. We have a gazillion cats and quite a few of them love to hang out in our tub, sometimes to nap, sometimes to chase moths or the mouse they caught and want to play with. They like the tub when it is cold or just after it has been used and is warm. Franklin is a very nice cat.
I don't much care for cats (SORRY!it is MY problem! traumatized as a young girls!) but in that last picture, Franklin (?) has such blue eyes! And I do like the first picture -- looking through the window, past the trees into the house across the street. Nice. Why are the trees painted white?
Wonderful post! Franklin is quite a character. Aaron's cats like to lay in his sink too--and they especially like the top of his fridge. I bet Franklin is a real hoot to travel with.
Thanks for visiting, ya'll. Franklin loves attention - any kind, really. Right now he's on the rug beside me on the floor in my office.
Nance - I'm not sure why the trees next door are painted white. I was told by the previous owner that one of the neighbors said it kept bugs away or something. I wish they'd have only painted their trees - but they also painted three that are now mine!
Go figure...
